The book 'Small Steps' is a continuing book of the book 'Holes' by Louis Sachar. It's about a boy named Armpit earning money by selling concert tickets. The concert was a singing concert. In the concert, Armpit meets the famous singer called Kaira and they likes each other. Kaira had to leave to San Francisco so they had to be apart. Kaira invites the boy to San Francisco. Kaira broke up with Armpit and the he returned back to his home. The story ends by Armpit hearing the Kaira's song in the radio.
My favourite part of the story is when Armpit and Kaira meets in the singing theater luckily. I also liked the part when they were walking, holding hands, along the garden and have ice cream together. Unluckily, this story ended up sad and they didn't get to meet each other again. As I was reading the book, I thought they would get to meet each other but it didn't end up like my expectations. I was a bit sad at the end... ^.^ I think this book is great and fascinating and it made a little more sense for me because I have already read the book 'Holes' (Which was actually better than this book). I would give this book 4 and a half out of 5.

This book is cool and interesting. Why is Armpit the main character not the main character in Holes.
Nice work with this review, Si Won. Is there any connection between it and Holes? From your write up, it seems not. It seems like a heartbreaker for the boy (couldn't your remember his name?)
