I just finished reading a book called 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid'. This book is by the author Jeff Kinney. There are four books of the series at the moment and the one I read was the third one.
It's about a boy called Greg and he always gets in trouble by the teacher, his friends, or especially, his own family. He has a little brother called Manny, who is very naughty and frustrating. He also has a big brother, Roddrick who is also mean and a little violent to him. All of his family is not smart and doesn't come up with good ideas or solutions if there is a problem.
I think this book is a very funny book and has lots of jokes in the book. I think the author did a very good job on making the reader laugh and he made the reader get into the book and concentrate.
My favourite part was when Greg tried to call his crush, Holly Hills. Every time he tries to call her, something gets wrong. For example, Rodrick blocked Greg from using the phone on the kitchen by pretending that he was using the phone and his mom used the phone just when Greg was calling Holly Hills. Holly Hill's mom answered the phone (Unluckily) and took an hour to find out who it was. It was funny because he never got to call her until the end of the book! (Poor Greg)... -.-
I would give a 5 star out of 5 for this book.

Yes, the Wimpy Kid receives lots and lots of high marks from readers. Your ***** is not surprising.
I liked your favorite part, too, where he was trying so hard to call his girlfriend, yet nothing was working out.
I wonder if JK was like Greg at all when he was growing up?
I've read the Wimpy Kid series and I think that these books illustrate what some students have to go through on a daily basis. Nice job on the write-up. Keep reading good books and tell me when you com across a really good one.
