This book doesn't really talk about what happened on the war but it usually talks about the relations of people and about one person's experience on the war. There are some cool quizzes on this book and I learned some stunning and astonishing facts on the quizzes. One of the example is: If you were late for work in a German factory, you could be sentenced to three months in prison. This book also talks cruelty on the war and about animals of the war. This book doesn't talk much of the timeline or the process of the war.
Something shocking to me at this book was that Italian solders fighting the Germans at the time of Russian winter had cardboard boots. But when they get frozen and couldn't take them off, the officer orderd the other soldiers to saw the legs off and put the legs on the ovens. I thought that was disgusting and cruel.
I thought this book was nice but i was a little disappointed that it didn't talk much about the process and the conclusion of the war. I would give this book a 3 stars out of 5.

Yes, there is a whole series of horrible histories, and they are all about the same, Si Won. There is less about the wars themselves, but are filled with the kinds of anecdotes you describe...what happens if your cardboard boots freeze to your feet.
Cruel, gross.
